Grusha’s Show

Still back in the childhood, I couldn’t forget about the Show da Xuxa.
To represent Xuxa’s team, here comes Grusha, the apocalyptical Paquita. Check-out her burning ring!
But she’s now ordinary girl, she is a animal handler. With his whip, he can even make the vicious mutant lycal Fifi do tricks like a little trained poodle.
The next will be her other pet, the Teddy Terror Bear Mishka, but I think it will be ready only Sunday.

Fight fire with fire

Today I bring you two clowns that like to play with fire.
Sergei, I painted yesterday, to help me ‘blow the candles’ of my birthday cake.
Vladd, he is the real Bozo of my Joker’s Gang.

Happy Birthday!

Hail to the Lord of the Miniatures, cause today it’s his Birthday!
Yeah, and to celebrate that, I gave myself I nice gift! A sort of krakage, you may say, but I think I deserved.
A box full of LotR miniatures, to help me complete my collection.
But don’t worry! If you want to give me a gift, go check this post to see the others miniatures that I still need.

Thanks to all that remembered, specially my wife and kid, my family, my friends in Brazil (and around the world) and to my french friends of the JFJ club!

Trapalhão and Papai Papudo

For this post, I got a little travel to my childhood.
This two miniatures kind make me remember two clowns of two shows that I used to watch when I was a child.
First, Antön. When I finished painting his face (before putting his clown make-up), he looks like Didi, of the Trapalhões.
For Kirril, at first I thought of him like the vilan of the Disney film (the princess and the frog, or something like that). I tried to paint him in the same scheme, but I wasn’t very satisfied of the result. But when I started painting his clocks, then I remembered of Papai Papudo, one clown that worked in the Bozo’s show. He had a great watch, and keeps asking the children “Hello, kids, what time is it?” And the crowd answered “five and sixty”. I don’t recall if it was really 6PM when he asked this, but the answer was all the same.

After the girls… now the clowns

I finish my Matriarchy collection with Gabrielle and her slave. It’s a pity that I didn’t take the pictures before gluing the slave, but no problemo, I’ll do that when I start doing the bases.
Also, I started with my Gang of Jokers collection, with Stipan. I decided to take some inspiration in my childhood, so I used a color scheme like Bozo. I particularly like the second photo. It freaks my out how his hair look so real (did you feel it?)

Oh xente! Vai uma tapioca ai?

Tapioka, the toad sachem of the Dancing-Stones tribe.
I got this mini yesterday, and couldn’t wait to complete my Aurlock as soon as possible.
